THE CHEAT CANYON
Experience West Virginia whitewater at its finest. The Cheat Canyon, with the largest undammed watershed in the East, is the mainstay of our spring season, located in Albright, WV.

Like the Mountain State, the Cheat River is wild and wonderful. One of America's last free-flowing whitewater rivers, it runs through a spectacular canyon, controlled by the forces of nature. Every spring when the snow melts and the rain falls, the waters of the Cheat rise to produce continuous Class IV-V rapids. The Cheat Canyon is an exciting adventure, dropping an impressive 300 ft. in ten miles. Put your paddling skills to the test as you travel through Big Nasty, High Falls and Coliseum rapids as you experience a West Virginia classic.

All of our trips are fully guided and include lunch.
